How this works. Market odds (de-vigged) → Dixon-Coles scorelines → 50k Monte-Carlo simulations, scored on the official FIFA World Cup Fantasy points table. Player names are matched against this round's projections entirely client-side against /api/round/5/players.json -- no squad is ever sent to our servers or anyone else's. Mark bench players with (B): they're shown with projected points but left out of your total, and flagged with a "chain option" note when a same-position starter of yours kicks off earlier -- FIFA's automatic subs only fire on a did-not-play at the very end of the round, but manual subs are allowed up until the round's last kickoff, so a strong bench pick with a later fixture is often a deliberate hedge, not a wasted slot.
